Recipe versioning
A full record of which label was printed with which ingredient list.
When you adjust a recipe, whether swapping an ingredient, changing a net weight or updating an allergen, a new version is created rather than overwriting the old one. Labels always reference the exact recipe version they were generated from.
That gives you an audit trail. You can see which label was printed with which ingredient list at any point in time. Useful for customer questions and, if it ever comes to it, for demonstrating due diligence.
Regulatory update alerts
You do not need to watch the legislature. That is our job.
Cottage food laws change. When your jurisdiction updates its rules, you receive an in-app notification and an email explaining what changed and which of your products are affected.
From the notification you can re-check your labels in one click. Any label that no longer passes under the updated rules is flagged individually, so you know exactly what needs regenerating.
